Michael A Link, P.E.
Michael A Link, P.E. is an Associate Director of Engineering for Haas Engineering.
Michael is a petroleum engineer and leads a team of engineers, geologists, and supporting staff to facilitate the execution of all project tasks in accordance with best practices and the client’s needs. He manages the entire job cycle for each assigned project including working with our customers on scope, deliverables, budget, and timing.
Prior to joining HPESI, Michael served as the Technical Team Lead of Engineering for Chevron’s Michigan operations. In this role, he led the company in two key areas: the development and operations of the Antrim Shale and the management of exploration activities in the Utica / Collingwood Shale. Before managing at Chevron, Michael served in a variety of engineering and management positions for Atlas Energy, DTE Gas & Oil, Devon Energy, Marathon Oil Company, and Western Atlas Logging Services.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, Oklahoma, and Michigan.
